We are the University of Birmingham's Ballroom and Latin American Dance Society
Welcome to the home of Ballroom and Latin American dancing at the University of Birmingham. If you are a student, staff member, or a member of the Guild of Students then this is the place for you to fall in love with the world of ballroom.
We are a student-run society committed to providing classes in Ballroom, Latin American, Argentine Tango and Rock 'n' Roll for a range of ability levels, so whether you have two left feet or have been dancing for years, we have a class suitable for you. Our classes are taught by professional coaches and you do not need to bring a partner.
Our team represents the University at inter-university dancesport competitions across the country, culminating in the national championships in Blackpool every March. We are entering our third year of competitive dancing and are proud to be the national reigning Offbeat champions.
